Mark Nergaard brings more than 40 years of experience in seismic operations and project delivery, including 14 years managing the seismic exploration portfolio of a major Canadian oil and gas producer. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Geophysical Contractors (CAGC).

As Operations Manager at Chronos, Mark leads field execution, contractor coordination, scheduling, logistics, and operational risk management. His focus is on translating project plans into safe, coordinated work in the field.

His career includes large-scale exploration programs in complex operating environments, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams and contractors in Canada and internationally. He brings a practical understanding of crew coordination, operational constraints, and the decisions that affect delivery.

Mark remains directly involved throughout execution, working with clients, project managers, and field supervisors to resolve issues, maintain oversight, and keep work aligned with project objectives.
