VP, Land and Regulatory
Gordon de Souza
Gordon de Souza brings more than 30 years of experience in land, regulatory, and geophysical operations across Western Canada. His expertise connects regulatory approvals, land access, and GIS mapping with the practical requirements of field execution.
As Co-Founder and Vice President of Land & Regulatory at Chronos, Gordon leads approvals, compliance, and project readiness. He works directly with clients, regulators, landowners, Indigenous communities, and field teams to identify constraints early and coordinate practical solutions.
His experience includes seismic mapping, government applications, environmental and land-use coordination, and private landowner engagement. He combines detailed analysis with a clear understanding of how permitting and land requirements affect project scope, schedules, and field activities.
By addressing these considerations early, Gordon helps clients make informed decisions, reduce avoidable delays, and prepare programs for responsible execution.
